KUIC Communi-K

Welcome to the KU Innovation and Collaboration (KUIC) Communi-K, our social media outlet for news, events and updates on the latest happenings throughout the 13 schools and 5 campuses that comprise The University of Kansas. Each post, email and newsletter will serve as our platform for sharing what’s current at KU – including recent innovation, faculty and research highlights and more.

KUIC is the central touch point between faculty, entrepreneurs looking to start new businesses and corporations looking to license KU technology or sponsor research.

The University of Kansas has a strong emphasis on licensing intellectual property, starting companies, creating corporate partnerships and establishing research relationships with foundations. Communi-K is just part of our multi-faceted approach to connect with those we serve.

In addition to articles, we’ll deliver white papers, highlight areas of expertise and study, and detail the state-of-the-art tools and resources available at KU.

KU has a strong tradition of effective commercialization built on research strengths at KU. Communi-K will highlight these areas and introduce you to new faculty and areas of growth.

2014 is off to a great start-we are committed to moving at the speed of business.   We are licensing more technologies, creating more companies and partnering with industry in new and innovative ways.

Thank you…and be on the lookout for more great news from KUIC.
