Patricia (Tricia) Bergman received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Industrial Administration from Purdue University. For the past ten years she served as Associate Director of the Center for Clean Energy Engineering at the University of Connecticut. In this role, she was responsible for the Center’s operations and outreach activities. Tricia also developed and coordinated large research and demonstration programs with state and federal agencies, as well as industry partners, including facilitation of contractual agreements. She was also part of a team that developed and initiated a unique, industry-focused Masters of Science in Engineering program. Prior to arriving at KU, she was involved in developing the strategic business plan for a start-up company involved in energy storage and conversion. Earlier in her career, Tricia spent 13 years with two entrepreneurial companies in Austin, Texas, Carroll Touch and Xetel, where she directed various functional activities in research and development, engineering, manufacturing, program management, as well as finance and accounting.
